Restaurant at Chatuchak market in Bangkok, Thailand

A family-owned restaurant at the Chatuchak market in Bangkok,  Thailand
Also called JJ Market, the Chatuchak market is a beautiful maze of tiny stalls and shops selling practically everything - from food, clothes, toys to home decoration and pets. It is easily accessible by train, and is definitely worth a visit if you're in Bangkok. Don't be surprised to find all the locals shopping here, and you could learn a bit by observing how they bargain for practically eveything there.
While there are numerous stalls selling street eats, wandering within the maze will reveal small  restaurants serving cold beers and local food. My recommendation is to walk over to the section of the market selling artwork - this is a relatively quieter (and cooler) part of the market, and find one of these restaurants. Grab yourself a Chang/Singha/Leo, and chill.
