The island of Siquijor is quiet, sparsely populated, and as the locals say, mystical. From a tourist point of view, though, there are a few nice places you should visit. The Guiwanon Mangrove Parks is one of them; local activists pushed to make this small coastal area a protected sanctuary, and you can do a short walk along the boardwalk here. The shack in this photo is at the end of the walk, and serves as a visitor information center, as well as a rest stop to have some refreshments (in the small shop in there).
