An evening in Boracay

This was an impromptu visit to Boracay with a friend, a few months before it closed down for 'clean-up'. Until I actually got there, I really couldn't imagine how small the island was. This beach with the tiny island was right outside my resort near Station 1. I reached there on a rainy, gloomy night, thinking it would be a wasted trip. But along came the bright, sunny morning, and there were no traces whatsoever of the previous day's gloom and doom.
Boracay does (did) indeed have beautiful, white-sand beaches, and a crazy party scene.
